Old vs New World Tasting
Our next tasting is on Friday 20th November (8pm) when we will be comparing quality wines from Western Australia and the Rhone Valley. It will be hosted by Tony Cloke from Plantagenet Wines, Western Australia and Anne-Helene Délage from Paul Jaboulet Ainé, Rhone Valley.
Plantagenet is one of Australia's outstanding producers and continue to produce some of Australia's most elegent wines. The 2006 reds produced by Paul Jaboulet Ainé were described last year by Steven Spurrier of Decanter ( and organiser of the famous France v California tasting in the 1970s) as "stunning".
