• 11th Nov 2009Chateau Musar Tasting

  We are delighted to announce a tasting from the amazing Lebanese winery Chateau Musar at 8pm on Friday 4th December. The tasting will be hosted by Fiona Bacon of Chateau Musar UK.

• 11th Nov 2009The Flying Corkscrew Christmas Tasting

  A date for the diaries. Our annual Christmas tasting weekend will run from Friday 11th December through to Sunday 13th December. Admission is FREE so make sure you get the dates in your diaries. More details will be posted soon.

• 25th Oct 2009Old vs New World Tasting

  Our next tasting is on Friday 20th November (8pm) when we will be comparing quality wines from Western Australia and the Rhone Valley. It will be hosted by Tony Cloke from Plantagenet Wines, Western Australia and Anne-Helene Délage from Paul Jaboulet Ainé, Rhone Valley.

  Some truly classy wines from two Western Australia wineries owned by the Fogarty family, who have decided to pull out of the UK market. Deep Woods is a top class winery from the Margaret River rated a '5 star' winery by James Halliday and the following wines are up for grabs.

  We are taking advantage of importers finding themselves overstocked in uncertain times, by buying up parcels and offering real bargains to our customers. This time it is a stonking rosé from Mitolo in the McLaren Vale, Australia and made from Sangiovese(the grape used for Chianti)
