Cotes de Provence Blanc 2006, Chateau Sainte Roseline "Lampe de Meduse" - list £12.50 ONLY £10.00
This region is best known for rosé but produces some stunning whites as well. Made to organic standards, this is a blend of Rolle (Vermentino) and Semillon which have been hand-harvested and vinified seperately before final blending. The result is a bright, pale white wine that combines the freshness of Rolle with the smoothness of Semillon exhibiting citrus fruit character combines with pear and white flowers. A fantastic aperitif, it will accompany fish dishes beautifully.

Bronze Medal winner at The Decanter World Wine Awards. Made in tiny quantities, this has earned a reputation as one of the best Barbera's in the region. It's soft with mature red fruits on the palate and a touch of spice on the finish. Perfect with a winter casserole.
